Just once. You can't put a wine glass on the bottom rack. Period. |
Do you have a very particular, little known, way that you consider to be the only way? Traditionally, women have been more likely to do the dishes than men, so for no woman you've ever known to be able to do it effectively is surprising. |
You obviously haven't had to rewash a load of dishes because someone incompetently loaded the dishwasher. What do you do when you unload the dishwasher and half the dishes are filthy because they were nested together improperly? Do you just put them away dirty, or do you reload the dishwasher and run it again? Or do you stand there and hand-wash each of the dishes that didn't come clean. I've would rather OCD my way to clean dishes than have to deal with a filthy dish that is supposed to be clean. |
All this anxiety over 1 broken glass. ![]() |
There would be a lot more if I didn't step in and take over. You can't put glasses on the bottom rack. And pots may not come clean on the top rack. There is a method, and it's in the manual. |
You should not put any wine glasses in the dishwasher, unless you live in a trailer. |
That's funny, no man I've known knows how to load properly. But that's probably because I have amazing spatial skills. I'm also the road trip car packer. |
Meh. We put our Reidel in the dishwasher. Top rack. Hand dry. We've only lost one or two over the last 15 years. |
dude, be thankful she is, at least, trying. |
Men have better spatial skills than women. |
Having a "right" way to do everything is a path to intimacy in marriage. Good work ,y'all. |
Maybe some men have better skills than some women, but it's not a universal truth. Let me know if you need help optimizing your dishwasher. Or loading the car. ![]() |
I have met men who are good at loading the dishwasher, but DH is not among them. His placement of dishes in our new dishwasher was so puzzling that I was more amused than annoyed. I attempted to show him and our teens the helpful video that the company puts out on how to load, but he was unwilling. It worked for two of the three of the kids though, so something to consider. You tube probably has something like this for most brands and models. |
^ Or if you need directions. I never get lost. |
Sure Reidels are sold at Target, they are basically disposable. If you really know how to pack a dishwasher properly wine glasses don't go in the dishwasher, nor do pots and pans. |
