Your whole argument is faulty. My DH is white, I’m the only Black person in my division at work, most of my friends are white and they accept me as one of their own. So excited that I’m white now too!

Yes, if you are as fair skinned as Megan and straighten your hair then for all intents and purposes your friends/American society writ large probably will view and treat you as white. Not sure why that’s surprising.

The British Royal Family didn’t cut off security. Meghan and Harry left their security behind when they left England. The British government (the Metropolitan Police Department, if memory serves) provides security for the BRF. They could have stayed in England and kept their security. The British taxpayers weren’t going to pay for multiple British police officers to live in the US full time. When Royals travel abroad on official travel, security is usually provided by the local government, but the Canadians and US governments said no thanks to putting the cost on their taxpayers for full time residents.

As for Archie needing his own security, how does an infant need security apart from that provided to his parents? As for the security of Nottingham Cottage, they chose to live there because they didn’t want to live in Kensington Palace. They moved away from the facilities where security could be provided and then whined about not having security. They can have security — they can move back to England.

Nah...they won. They were not allowed to defend themselves on that side of the pond and they were eaten alive. They won. She had every right to call out racism and not giving a shit someone is suicidal. They protected the queen, Willy and Kate even though I'm sure they were not innocent. For the record I don't think Meghan is a saint. She needed shades of narcissism to survive her childhood with a sister who is green with jealousy and hatred, a bitter divorce between the parents and who knows what else. She did not deserve all that bad press. The number of times Kate was complimented for the same thing Meghan was demonized for was ridiculous. I'm sure Kate the Great is breathing a massive sigh of relief Meghan went easy on her. I suspect it wasn't deserved, but they both were catty to eachother.

Umm no - they had protection officers staged in Canada. You don’t reminder when palace courtiers finally found out where they were and suddenly articles about Meghan treating their protection officers as delivery drivers popped up. The palace is nothing if not consistently cruel.

I came away with a better impression of Harry than I had going in. He saw that his wife was crazy/not stable/mentally ill and he did what he had to do to protect his family. He needed to get her away -- Canada if it worked and then California if it didn't. Seems Harry did what he had to do regardless of the personal cost. That is a real man.
