Wantng to marry a career oriented guy

Anonymous
I want to marry a career oriented guy who makes the big bucks. I want to stay home and watch the kids and pusue hobbies and never worry about money.

Where can I meet such a guy and be desirable to him?

I am 30 and pretty attractive.

+1 however at 30, she could be a catch for someone 50 or older.

Assuming you really are attractive, hang out at sports bars in the financial district or other happy hour spots when men get off work. Men are competitive with each other. They will hit on you to impress their friends

Or a job as medical device or pharmaceutical sales rep. Or paralegal.

Is this thread even real? Any attractive 30 year old has endless ways to meet men with money.

Be careful what you wish for, since that's your primary focus you'll get the guy but you can't complain years lately that he is a horrible unhelpful father and doesn't help with the kids, any household work other than paying the bills.Even worse when he cheats and you can't leave because you don't have any income and always thought it will never happen to you because you are special.

What an insane post. It looks like something a 16 year old would write, this can't be real.

There are not too many men who are independently wealthy. A regular career oriented guy may work as hard as you want him to and still not make it to the top, and you will end up still worrying about money even though you and him did everything right.

How about you find a guy who makes 100K+ with job stability (nurse practictioner, pharmacist, accountant, finance, engineering, something), and you live far out in the burbs and be financially conservative so that you can make it work with that much? You could go to nursing school when your kids are older and work a couple of days a week to complement his income and you guys will have a good life.

You can meet guys who make "big bucks" by making big bucks yourself. You'll naturally run in the same circles.

+1. I've found that driven men who make money want the same in a partner. They want a lot more than just a pretty face.

If you have not snagged a guy like that already then it is already too late for you. Can you go back to school in the day time and gym in the evening to work on your brains and your body? It will not make you a trophy wife, but you will at least become some some second choiced guys second choice?

This has been a big change over the last 30 years. Doctors want to marry doctors, lawyers want to marry lawyers.
