Where can I meet such a guy and be desirable to him?

I am 30 and pretty attractive.

You can meet guys who make "big bucks" by making big bucks yourself. You'll naturally run in the same circles.

+1. I've found that driven men who make money want the same in a partner. They want a lot more than just a pretty face.

LOL I really truly wish I President-Elect felt the same way.

The same rules don't apply to average people that inherit their wealth and opportunities.

This thread reminds me of the classic Craigslist posting almost 10 years that circulated throughout Wall Street. "Spectacularly beautiful" gold digger looking for a rich husband on Craigslist and an amazing response from a JP Morgan Industrials banker.

Get some self esteem and a job op you sound like a loser.

Not me. I'd love a traditional wife with a division of responsibilities.

She had a friend from yoga class who was married to an investment banker and lived in Tribeca? What a cliche.

Ugh. 80% of your kids' intelligence is inherited from the mom. Pick smart.

that's where you lost.

you should've been hunting this since 15.

if all you are bringing is your face and ass in exchange for money, you are a depreciating asset trying to enter into a trade for an appreciating one.

silly girl.

+2. Highly focused and career intensive people don't want to be married to a half wit gold digger.

This has been a big change over the last 30 years. Doctors want to marry doctors, lawyers want to marry lawyers.

That is actually true. I am a doctor married to a one time lawyer who is now SAHM

The only two-doctor couples I know have ended up with the wife staying home or working very part time after kids. I know two doctor-lawyer couples (wives are doctors) that are in counseling because of job-related stress and child care issues. Couples who are smart, and want to advance in their careers, soon realize that raising kids, keeping a home and entertaining is a full-time job.

There are lots of smart women who become SAHM. We have pure division of labor. Wife is a phD, quit her job when kids came
