Gas won't be low forever, go with a fuel efficient model. The Toyota RV hybrid is the most efficient but I like how the Lexus 450 looks.

Go for it! It would be a huge surprise. I really wanted an SUV for Christmas years ago- I love the ads on TV with the SUV in the driveway with a big bow on Christmas morning. I actually looked out the window on Christmas morning to see if it was there (it wasn't...). I bought one a few months later.
