Hamas are not Israelis, but they are not Israeli's priority. Why else would they still be alive and large and in charge? Why hasnt a beeper massacre been perpetrated on them? Israel's existential threat is not Hamas, but Iran and Hezbollah according to their own government. Hamas is something Israel does not want to eliminate because that means bye bye to Likud in Israel. Israel was always a left wing country for the most part of its recent history until Netanyahu breathed life into Likud and kept it strong, and that lifeblood was always Hamas. Without Hamas attacks in the 90s, Netanyahu wouldve never won his first election as PM. Hamas is a tool according to Netanyahu. It's why he did nothing on 10/7 and told the army to twiddle its thumbs and let people get taken captive. Until Israel puts Netanyahu in jail for life, nothing good will come to that country |

The end of Hamas will only come with the end of Netanyahu. In fact from 2006-2009, Hamas was already dying and on its way out under Olmert, but once Bibi won election, they were able to survive and get millions in dollars funneled in to build tunnels and infrastructure.
Bibi and Hamas do not care about wars or sacrifcing their own people to die so long as the words two state solution are never uttered. Bibi and Hamas have similar hatred for the US and negotiators, they hate Rabin and Arafat and the Oslo Accords. The idea of shaking hands and dividing the land evenly is something unfathomable to either. They are two right wing extremists with the same philosophy: no two state solution ever. |

A year and a half ago from July-August 2023, something happened that shook Hamas and Netanyahu to their core.
Moderate Israelis and Gazans stood up to mass demonstrate against Netanyahu and Hamas in unprecedented mass demonstrations bolstered by social media. They faced resignation demands, strikes, and even the refusal to join the army in the case of Israelis. 10/7 happens two months later. |

Both men opposed ending the conflict in anything but a zero-sum game, rejected a two-state solution, and dealt in death to achieve their goals. “Revenge is the logic of Sinwar and Netanyahu,” Mr. Raz said. Last year, Mr. Lieberman accused Mr. Netanyahu of blocking targeted assassinations of Hamas leaders. A slew of former political leaders, military commanders, and intelligence chiefs, including Ehud Barak and Gadi Eisenkot, have echoed assertions of Mr. Netanyahu’s enabling of Hamas over the past year. Yep and obviously Hamas is still alive and kicking. Great job Israel!! They didn’t destroy Hamas, they killed at least 50,000 Gazans and then forced their own hostages to wait months longer than necessary to be released.

Israel wasn't in Gaza pre-Oct. 7. Prior to Israel’s founding and the Jordanian occupation of the West Bank, the territory contained several Jewish communities. Jordan expelled 17,000 Jews from the West Bank during the 1948 war, and when Israel conquered the territory in 1967, it had no Jewish population. The first West Bank settlement was Kfar Etzion, a Jewish community that existed prior to 1948 that Israel reestablished in 1967. So, the presence of the IDF in Gaza is due only to Hamas' atrocities of Oct 7, while the presence of the IDF and settlers in the West Bank is due only to Jordan's defeat following the 1967 war which was precipitated by Fatah and other Palestinian guerilla organizations attacking targets inside Israel. "Get out"? It's far too late for that when you speak of the West Bank, formerly used as a staging ground for terror attacks. And the IDF wasn't present in Gaza until the terror attacks of Oct 7. Notice a theme? Terrorists attack Israeli interests, get defeated, lose land, cry, and want the land back. Doesn't seem to work that way. |

Hamas, just like all extremists, should be denounced into oblivion. Likud, the other right wing political parties in Israel, the settlers, etc. are extremist birds of a feather. There are also garden variety Palestinians and Israelis who act in ways that make them their own worst enemy, too. But there are also Palestinians and Israelis who don’t support the policies or actions of Hamas or the Israeli government. They understood that major regional reform that addresses the Palestinian refugee crisis of the past 75 years is the only path to peace in the region. None of those observations makes what has occurred in Gaza and the West Bank over the past 75 years acceptable to civilized people. Not sure what accountability should or will look like in the Middle East, but it’s sad to say that I don't think any side will be happy with what’s to come … |

So I ask again: do you know any Palestinians anyone living in the midd east (who is not a Jewish Israeli)? Have you even visited the region (Israel and ann other areas in the. Middle East?). I have. It’s eye opening. If not you simply and factually do not have the full understanding g if the situation and although I am sure you think you can cast righteous blame you cannot. I challenge you to- get to know some Palestinians. Talk to the. And understand their history. Then we can have a conversation about who is “right” and who are “human animals”. |
