Why are younger men so right wing?

Anonymous
It’s human nature to look for a place to channel your frustration when you are struggling.

As young men struggle to find a good job, pay the bills, buy a house, etc. they will blame anyone who is getting ahead.

This matters, and Dems must pay attention.

I mean, history has documented this for hundreds of years.

It is the cartoon of three men sitting at a table. The man to the right is a white, blue collar worker with ten coins in front of him. The man to the right is of color and has 4 coins in front of him. The man in the middle has hundreds of coins and is looking at the white, blue collar worker and pointing at the man on the left saying "blame him"

So all that “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” and “make your own way” and “people that need assistance are weak” was all just BS and young men actually need a bunch of DEI?

It’s more complicated than that. This anecdote would resonate more in the 1960s and 1970s when even labor leaders like Cesar Chavez were vehemently against illegal immigration. The white man with all the coins (globalist / libertarian capitalist) is using illegal migrant labor to deflate the wages and increase the housing prices for all citizens, regardless of color. In your anecdote, working class Black men who are ADOS would be just as likely to point the finger at illegal immigrants as well.

Yes there was some fraud. The investigations began under Biden. 70 of the 78 arrests happened under Biden. It was a white woman, not Somalis, responsible for this.

It's not happening.
It's kind of happening.
It's happening, it's okay and here's why it's okay.
maga freaking out about it happening is the real problem.

I don't understand the left's play here. It is so obviously happening and theres thousands of hours of video to back it up, only growing more each day. There are spokesmen spouting balf faced lies that are proven wrong the moment they speak them. There are 3 dozen fighting age males loitering in front of the "Learing Center" right now. On a federal holiday. Why? It's not a day care.

So the left thinks they can just deny it and it goes away. It doesnt work like that.

Fraud is a national problem, and cases in Minnesota have been under federal and state investigation for years. So why is it suddenly a national issue?

It's a case study in the power of the right's propaganda machine.

I’m center right but not MAGA.

This is a situation where I’d suggest you just take the L.

These daycares were obviously fraudulent, and no objective observer could think otherwise. Fraud is obviously bad, and no objective observer could think otherwise. The scale is obviously astonishing, and no objective observer could think otherwise.

It’s good not to demonize vulnerable immigrants of course, but that can’t be the primary concern here; otherwise, we just couldn’t learn lessons from widespread criminal activity if they, for whatever reason, happen to occur disproportionately in one community as, for whatever reason, seems to have been the case here.

If someone makes a mean-spirited comment toward Somalis or anyone on the basis of immutable characteristics, it’s of course appropriate to condemn that comment. But to pretend that this story is a right-wing contrivance is just silly, and you beclown yourself when you pretend otherwise.

What are you even talking about? I posted above, the investigation into this started under Biden. Most of the prosecutions happened under Biden. The right is trying to Pizzagate this. There is a reason day care centers don't let random masked men into their facilities.

No one said it didn't happen. It did. Biden's DOJ prosecuted it.

Can you list the names of all who was prosecuted under the Biden administration in relation to this fraud?

if you are interested in systemic fraud, start with people like Senator Rick Scott and others in the health insurance industry, and then move on to President Trump and Jared Kushner, who are defrauding our treasury for billions of dollars at a time.

For example, if they decide to invest in a career, they want to have some assurance that that their government will not be okay with using their tax money to write checks to criminals. There appears to be zero accountability on that front--the childless childcare industry in MN and other states is just the tip of the iceberg.

It’s the Satanic panics all over again. Day care centers are a perfect lightning rod because the right hates them. They symbolize working women and the breakdown of the family. Far right moral panic crusaders love having symbols to attack (see: 9/11 targets).

One of them did a Google search of day care centers within a 15 mile radius of Boston and went ballistic over the fact that there are over 4,000. This is in a metro area with a population of 5 million. Siri, what is population density?

This is false.

For the entire modern era, men were inclined to lean left than women, until around 20 years ago.

Who was voting conservatives into office before women had the vote?
