That is not accurate. This person is not “second in command” or close to it. Husel has a bunch of coaches. The commissioner, who I would say is second in command, has no high school ties. |
That is literally what someone just posted “negotiations fell through” so… |
Probably because they are good players. Husel also has kids coming from Fredericksburg, private schools in the area, and prince william county. Multiple kids on second teams who have never played before as well. |
Boy you sure can tell a delusional retort from a Husel Mom/Dad because of the quick defense of coach and corners. Drank the kool-aid now stuck in the Husel swamp and can’t get out. |
This thread is so entertaining. Bring on the popcorn. |
You can tell that this post is from a Freedom parent because they downplayed the Baltimore Bash tournament which was the same weekend Freedom hosted a tournament also. Lots of good competition at Baltimore Bash - Warhawks, Washington Wolves, Alpha, Next Level, Xtreme, H2O. At Freedom’s tourney - many many Freedom teams, Maryland Legacy, So. MD eliminators, Shore Byrds - essentially much weaker competition than at Baltimore Bash. Gotcha! |
Freedom has a tourney every weekend not just the weekend of B Bash |
Oh come on, Fairfax's HC and Asst. Coach BOTH play big roles with Husel. |
Yeesh. Yes, we know Freedom poster, but you missed the whole point of the retort which was to point out the Freedom poster putting down another tournament that many good clubs went to instead of Freedom’s tourney. So righteous yet thin-skinned…. |
+1. A lot of hate out there for Husel! |
Honestly, it starts out great. Outdoor is pretty good - more players needed. Then when you go indoors for the winter season, things head south quickly. The favoritism based on high school, Mom coaches, etc. is crazy. You just have to hope for the best and stay on the good side of the Husel coach otherwise it can get ugly. |
This is true. |
I think this is true for a lot of clubs. |
Parent coaches at a club are never a good idea. |
Schedule for NITS is out and it is a hot mess. Even the WC Eagles teams (13 of them) aren’t in the top brackets. |
