Nothing to see here, please move along. Everything is great. Your real wages did not just go down 5%.

Biden has not created jobs.
Those are jobs in which people have returned after the pandemic.
And, the American people know that.

So use your bootstraps and get a real job. Isn’t that the GOP’s rallying cry? Maybe “stop eating avocado toast and getting Starbucks”?

Another big story that’s missed is how we thought we were getting void job booms and busts last year but after revisions the numbers were consistently in the 400-700k range with only April being a outlier at 263k. The summer boom was reduced and the winter lulls were increased, the media story is all wrong this was super consistent job growth all year!

This continues, 678k jobs in February! January revised up from 467k to 481k. December revised up from 510k to 588k.

The trend continues 431k for March, Feb revised up to 750k, Jan up to 504k. Odds are the March number will look even better. It’s an underestimate every month, takes some momentum out of the headline. We are 2 years past the Covid drop, these numbers are amazing….everyone that is available and wants a job has one at this point.

Jobs are basically back to 2019 levels. The participation rate is still lower than it should be. Not much a president can do to force people back into the workforce, particularly those who decided to retire early during COVID.

The Fed will likely get 1.00+ rate rise by the end of the year, so that is baked into the equation.

Of course the President doesn’t create jobs. But the economy creates a f**kton more jobs under Democratic Presidents than under Republican Presidents.

Bottom line, Bush, W and trump left crap economies. Clinton, Obama and now Biden have cleaned it up.

Debt goes down under Dems. Deficit goes down under Dems.

Facts matter.

Also, everyone in my peer group has gotten large raises during the Biden administration. Also, the ability now to change jobs and demand high salaries and signing bonuses is the highest in my 20 years in corporate America.

That's great.
You'll need it to pay rent, heating, gas for travel, and groceries.

Too bad for those people on fixed incomes. They'll die soon anyway, right?

Oh, you mean the people the GOP was willing to kill so the economy could reopen before the 2020 election?

Huh? I remember not so long ago when republicans were the party of personal responsibility. Didn't save enough for retirement? to f'ing bad, this is the land of opportunity and personal responsibility. People on fixed incomes now entered the workforce in the 70s or 80s. The S&P back then was around 400. It is above 4000 now. Anyone from that generation who is not sitting pretty in retirement could not be helped regardless of which party is in power.

It took almost 6 years for the Obama Administration (with "help" from the GOP Senate) to recover the US economy from the W disaster. The Democrats have managed to turn Trumpism around in a miraculous year. Trump lost the jobs, Biden got them back. It doesn't always happen that way, and certainly THIS was not predicted. Recall in 2020 the experts were saying it would take until 2025 to recover, assuming COVID was in the rear view mirror.

So poo-poo it all you want, this has been wonderful for the US of A.
