I can't help it - I want a Neverfull.

The Goyard bags aren’t nearly as durable. They get worn in the creases and the color rubs off the trim. The salesperson even told me they are not meant to be everyday bags. I wish LV would make the Neverfull in an unrecognizable pattern or solid colors. Yes, they are basic and ugly but there is no bag as durable or utilitarian as the Neverfull.

They do.

Yes, epi leather

Epi is not the canvas. It’s not the same- not as durable.

Or lightweight

I adore mine. Do it.

I love mine so much that after 10+ years when mine finally wore out after daily use I bought a new one. It’s a workhorse bag, I love how much weight you can put in and the straps still hold. I don’t care if others think it’s tacky, it’s a great bag.

There is a black with a small pink LV logo, I want it so bad!

Get it if you like it!

I don’t have any opinions about them being basic or lame but I will say I had one and it was the worst bag I ever had because it dug into my shoulder so much because the straps are so narrow they don’t distribute the weight and the bag is so big that it was always so heavy because I’d have way too much stuff in there.

Fortunately (?) my bag was defective and the rubber from the straps started to melt off onto my shirts so they gave me credit for a new bag and I got a two toned noe that I love.

But seriously, that bag hurt me physically and I don’t understand how they’re so popular because it’s a lot of weight on narrow straps

Because it isn’t that much money to them.

Oh so these are the people using $100 bills for TP? And they want everyone to know it? Gotcha.

You’re acting like it’s a Himalayan Birkin. It’s really not that expensive.

Holy shit you privileged, out of touch wanker.

Let me see...an ugly coated canvas bag or a month of daycare? Hm....

I hope next time someone says they have a $20k travel budget you call them a privileged out of touch wanker for spending two years of daycare on vacations.

DP. It’s a GD BAG you dummy. Literally just something you use to carry your stuff from point A to point B and back again. Waste your money on whatever you want but anyone who pays more than about $50 (and even that is pushing it) for a BAG is an effing moron.

It’s not dumb to buy something expensive if you can afford it and want it. If you're not a luxury handbag person, you won’t understand buying one. DH likes luxury cars. Dumb to me as I’m purely utilitarian when it comes to cars but I can fathom that different people appreciate and enjoy different things.

It’s a basic bag. It looks basic, it’s got a suburban mom vibe. It’s also a very popular bag for a reason. Get it if you want it and wear it with confidence.

Ive always wanted an LV Speedy. I might treat myself to one next year for my bday. I don’t care what DCUM has to say about it. Do you, OP.

You can say that about anything. “It’s just a car” and “it’s just a hotel room” and “it’s just a beach.” Just because I wouldn’t buy a Maserati doesn’t mean Maserati buyers are dummies. They are spending their money on something they value.

You’re fine, op. I’m not into purses but I adore a swanky hotel. The heart wants what the heart wants.

Disagree. They are also dummies. Dumb people “value” dumb things.

Get a Honda.

If you MUST get a neverfull, at least get an Epi. Much less gross looking

Yes, if you really want it I agree get the epi leather. But then- you can get a much better leather bag IMO.

Not what I said. But sports cars and “designer” tote bags are certainly not!
