I can't help it - I want a Neverfull.

The Goyard bags aren’t nearly as durable. They get worn in the creases and the color rubs off the trim. The salesperson even told me they are not meant to be everyday bags. I wish LV would make the Neverfull in an unrecognizable pattern or solid colors. Yes, they are basic and ugly but there is no bag as durable or utilitarian as the Neverfull.

THey do.

The epi is leather and doesn’t wear as well. I wish they made the canvas style neverfull in solid colors

I would buy a canvas Neverfull in every color if they made them!

And if you get the bag refurbished by Longchamp, they take in the bottom so you end up with a smaller bag than you did before. It’s a good bag for a specific purpose and demographic, but don’t expect it to last more than 2-3 years with daily heavy use.

I agree with this. I had one I used as a work bag when i was younger and the corners got holes. I bought a replacement and the same thing happened. I definitely won't buy another

okay but- who cares in terms of price. I remember being shocked when I found out they were as $$ as they were.

I think they can hike the price because, like the neverfull, there isn’t a ton of competition. Most nylon totes have kind of a sporty, rather than classic, look similar to how, with the neverfull, most other high end bags are leather and few (none?) are as durable.

I use one as my diaper bag but, yes, the holes in the corners are a consistent problem with the product. That said, I don’t think anyone would expect the quality of a neverfull at the price point of the longchamp.

Looking at buying the Damier Ebene in RB but having a hard time finding a new one. How hard are these to buy? Any tips?

Never heard of it until just now, but if I saw someone carrying one I'd honestly wonder wtf was wrong with that person that they spent 1500 on an ordinary canvas bag. But if it makes you happy and you want it, go for it. There's nothing wrong with it and I think most people won't recognize it.
