Making sure that the clowns on the FCPS School Board can't take their cue from far-left state officials like Atif Qarni is a start. |
Yeah, you're not a Democrat. |
Yeah, I am. At least enough to just vote in the D primary this year. But try to convince yourself that the Ds aren't alienating many people now at the state and local level. |
| The Democratic party organizations in places like Loudoun and Fairfax are going to find out that many Biden Democrats aren't going to support candidates like McAuliffe (not to mention the local school boards) who have outdone themselves with their pandering and blatant embrace of identity-based politics. |
The only Ds who think they are being “alienated” are those listening to the GOP lies. |
| Biden voter here. I hope youngkin wins. |
I’m sorry to report that you are a victim of liberal hive mentality. There are many free-thinking individuals who rightly feel alienated by both parties. I’m one of them. |
| Yeah, both parties suck. At present the sheer inauthenticity and hypocrisy of the local Democrats is pushing me to vote for Youngkin. FWIW I’m a registered Democrat and have voted for D’s in all but one prior state election (could not support the hapless Creigh Deeds). |
Maybe crack open a history book or two. |
Tell me more about how the Republican culture warriors are winning over hearts and minds. |
LOL sure. What specific policies? And try not to sound like a RWNJ... |
There’s no R primary this year, so? |
|
It’s so interesting that Rs never seem to have to learn a lesson…
Considering what they have and continue to put us through, how anyone can give them their vote to “teach a lesson” to Dems is beyond me |
| Kitchen table issues will be front and center |
I didn't say accelerated or advanced tracks. I said advanced math. Schools will not be able to offer algebra 2, except in VA DOE's blended version, and algebra 2 will be missing from this. If algebra 2 were in it as is claimed, there would be no need for acceleration. You don't even understand what VMPI is doing, and you claim to call others liars for describing it. There is no acceleration needed to take calculus under VMPI. VMPI is selling its proposal as having a path to calculus available for everyone. My point is they are wrong about this(likely lying), and the usual path to calculus will be gone. |
