Miserable women assume that the next woman has a better life, even if they know nothing about them. This is an extremely judgmental, shallow area. Women hang out with women similar to them for this reason - less hate.

Most women on this board are married and have children. I have my own life. What the hell do I care if another woman is prettier than I am?

And while some unhappy people do dislike others for their good fortune, more than half of people aren't like that. Most people aren't like that. It's also possible to be attractive and thin and unhappy.

This is such a weird conversation.

I am smart, attractive, and kind. I have a good marriage, not perfect and a nice life . I am grateful every single day, but quietly. I love people and am a good friend. While I have occasionally felt jealousy either initialing or later creep into a few friendships , I've usually been able to nip it by opening up and being more vulnerable. I will say I steer clear of women who put off the very overtly competitive drive. I am interested in authentic friendship and feel so fortunate to have many wonderful friends.

Some nasty middle school memories.... I was in the popular clique for a while and suddenly all my friends turned on me (QB insurrection). I hid in the bathroom during lunch. One day, I had had enough during a bullying session and I punched one of the "Heathers". I didn't stop hitting. I got in BIG trouble. My arch nemesis had two black eyes and I had instant fame. I stopped playing the QB/wanna-bee game. Most women are still playing this game now. I think women hate me because I don’t play their silly, catty games…. I’m sure I appear aloof, as I talk to men mostly at social events.
