Did people forget how to drive?

Perfect example of a person who makes the roads more dangerous for everyone, and who thinks that breaking the law themselves (not complying with slower traffic keeping right / using left lane to pass) makes them morally superior.

Ha. Gotta love the argument from people who love to speed that it is somehow safer if everyone speeds and that people who don’t speed are the ones making it less safe since they are not going with the flow of traffic. No, actually physics dictates that everyone driving slower is safer than everyone driving faster. Everyone going the same speed is in fact more safe than soem people going ten miles over, soem going 15, some going faster and weaving in. If everyone drives the speed limit then there is no passing, no weaving, and everyone is in fact safer

No, no one in DC uses turn signals. I moved here in 2005, and had to teach my mother how 6o not use her turn signal is she actually wanted to merge. We are all just DC a**holes.

I learned how to drive in an area where people really are a**holes and really don't use turn signals.

It's so cute when people in DC complain. People here do (or did before 2020) use turn signals and they do (or did before 20202) let you in when you use them.

The asshole DC move is when you do use your turn signal to change lanes and the asshole in that lane behind you decides to floor it and try to not let you into "his" lane. Fck that.

I was taught if you miss your turn you DON'T stop. Just maintain the flow of traffic and look for the next turn. It was less than 1/8 mile up the road, easy u-ey.

Have people not been taught this? Why is missing a turn the end of the world? GPS?

Wait, what? So was the turn lane full and they were just behind the last car waiting to get in the lane? Or were they stopped beside cars in the lane?

I ask because for some reason, people in DC think that making a legal left hand turn that stops traffic behind them in that lane is cause to honk, threaten, and scream at people unless they either drive into head on traffic or mow down any pedestrians in the crosswalk. The driver isn't doing anything illegal, they are just mad they have to stop for 5 seconds on a busy city street.

I don't care. I didn't pay over $100k for this Range Rover to sit waiting behind your ugly Toyota. Get out of my way.

You're kidding, right?

We'll, I am, yes. I don't own a Range Rover. But don't you see that attitude all over DC? Including "I have a right to tailgate you" person?

There's definitely a lot of DC drivers with expensive cars who think they are more entitled to the road than the rest of us lowly hoi polloi. Pfffft.

+1

People in VA never learned to stay right, pass left. Clueless twots don’t even notice when a huge line of cars back up behind them.

People with MD plates seem to suck while driving. The guy who hit my car had his pant’s zip low.
