ECNL or GA - just make sure you understand who your coach really is. This is defined by when things go bad. Are they inappropriate with their kids, harassing kids that think of leaving or are they professional about it.

Some coaches turn very very nasty and Phil at Loudoun has not for anyone that’s leaving. There are two Maryland Clubs where the coaches are being jerks to their girls for wanting to leave and one of them is about to get fired for harassment of the kids.

I don't understand why Metro/Mclean/Bethesda parents are posting here? Please stay put at your 2nd rate clubs.

My son’s team played a Loudoun team last week and those Loudon parents were so intense. Loudoun had never even been on my radar (neither has FCV honestly — we live in MD and play for a MD team.) But those Loudon parents were a lot. When one of the kids got out of the car the dad yells — NOW GO KICK THEIR ASS. Their team lost 6-0 (could have been more I stopped counting.)

We played a FCV team, we’re from MD so not a lot of experience with these parents. A dad was spanking his kid after the game for missing a clear goal scoring opportunity. Another parent said their DD “didn’t deserve dinner”. Another level of intensity
