Anyone felt terrible 48hrs after first shot?

My partner did. Turns out he picked up a gut somewhere. Passed it on to the whole family. That said my tummy was wonky for a few days after my first shot. Not second though.

OP here. All in, I was sick for 6 days
After Pfizer shot 1... and by that I mean in bed for 6 days, then slowly climbed my way out until about 12 days out. I lost almost 10lbs, and truly couldn’t function for that week post vaccine. I realize this was not the norm reaction.

Not planning on getting my second that is scheduled for next week. I just now feel like I’m back to normal, I can’t imagine walking into that again. I’m not certain what my plan will be ... I wish I wasn’t in this spot ...

I also had a stronger reaction to the first Pfizer dose. Literally thought I had covid but tested negative (whole family tested negative too). Truly don’t think I ever had covid before. Second shot was like sugar water. Felt nothing. Get that second shot! You just never know.

I know 2 people who had strong reactions to the first dose of moderna, much like ops experience. They didn't feel they had the option to forego the second dose. Fortunately, the second dose side effects, while still strong, lasted only 36 hours.
