Why doesn’t God reveal himself in unambiguous way?

I consider myself a Christian but I am highly suspect of many people who claim they “hear” from God. Many, many men over time have used “God’s voice” as an excuse for racism, mistreating women and other vile acts.

One Problem with God and his revealing would be that this would be a game changer if there is such thing.

If you KNEW God exist, you would not have to BELIEVE that God's exist and it is more fun to know if you behave because you KNOW there is a camera in the store or if you believe you should not still because it is not a right thing to do.

What people do with God is what people do with God.... that I think has nothing to do if one believes in him or not.

It is like with smoking. You know it is there and you believe it is bad and yet you not only hang out with smokers but also let them pollute the Earth.
