Bad assumption. Like other magnet clubs, players commute from long distances to play. I know of players headed to FCV, Loudoun and Metro from that team.

From Mclean 07 ECNL? Pretty sure that Loudoun and FCV both already believe they have the greatest teams ever. Would they really BOTH be picking up McLean players from a team that everyone says is average?

McLean needs to vastly improve their communication style with both parents and players. Even current families have no idea what’s going on with the merger and what it means and they need to define and quick before they lose everyone!

I am certain the downhill will be vague and not answer any real questions. We want to know how big is this roster going to get? Right now we have a nice, small team. Also who will be our coach? When will we know who is going to be in the team next year? If no SYC players are on the team do we have to practice in Springfield?

Not saying this specifically about Mclean, but even average teams have great players. Both Loudoun and FCV would benefit from addition of some of the McLean players.....
