Why? Because there’s plenty of money for highlights and fancy cuts and still tuition, expenses, and everything else you’re all saying would be a better use of highlight money. We pamper her because we can. The end. |
My DD is 19, and she had $15 chain-salon haircuts until she was a senior and a stylist really messed it up. We agreed to go somewhere better to "fix" it, so she's been three times to the nicer salon. Now that it has grown back out, I'm not sure that we will continue with the more expensive salon.
With nails, she always kept them short and unpolished until about a year ago. She has anxiety and would pick at her nails, which was definitely a problem. She wanted to get gel or something like that for an event, so we agreed and then realized that the thicker nail kept her from being able to pick at her fingers. Who knew? She doesn't get tips or wear them long, but we agreed to keep paying for the gel part (or maybe it's a powder) to help with the picking problem. She's tried other fidget things, but this has worked the best. |
It's pretty devastating when you are going through it. I would never want my daughter to suffer like that. |
