DP. You keep repeating this lie. MD mass vax sites are open to anyone, not just MD resident. DC residents aren’t stealing anything from anyone by getting vaccinated at these sites. You’re purposely misrepresenting the facts. |
Huh? Who are you talking to? MD, PA, etc. have opened up vax cities to people who reside or work in these states. Just like DC. Just like VA. You seem confused.

There are tons of appointments at CVS in DC.

I cannot believe you are still here saying this. At this point you are hindering the vaccination effort. |
No, Greenbelt is open to anyone. "A new mass vaccination site is open at the Greenbelt Metro station in Prince George’s County. It offers shots to anyone, not just Maryland residents. Go online here to create an account." https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/coronavirus-in-dc-maryland-virginia-what-to-know-on-april-21/2647387/ |
Incorrect. https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2021/01/05/covid-vaccine-dc-virginia-maryland-faq/ |
FEMA sites don't take away from the Federal allotment for states. Greenbelt is one of these. DC residents have just as much right to those vaccines as Maryland residents because they are Federal vaccines administered by federal funds. Your link doesn't actually say that the other link is incorrect. It says this about mass vaccine sites: What about mass vaccination sites? Maryland has several mass sites across the state, including Six Flags in Prince George’s, M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Regency Furniture Stadium in Charles County, and others in Hagerstown and Salisbury. Twelve will be open by the end of April. Virginia also has several mass vaccination sites, including at the Stonebridge Vaccination Center in Alexandria and at the former Gander Mountain store at the Potomac Mills shopping plaza in Prince William County. The District opened a mass vaccination site at Arena Stage in Southwest D.C. on April 9. Most operate on an appointment-only basis; Maryland’s mass vaccination sites in Hagerstown, Salisbury and at the M&T Bank Stadium site in Baltimore are accepting a limited number of walk-ups without appointments. |

DC residents over 65 can walk up to many sites. Please spread the word:

+1000000 It's perfectly reasonable and appropriate for DC residents to get the shot at any FEMA site anywhere. |
Yup - let’s encourage rich Marylanders to get their vaccines in the poorest neighborhoods in DC, too. Die it out, pours. |

According to FEMA, mass vax sites are for state residents:

| I don't see where in that FEMA statement it says FEMA sites are for state residents. You make it sound like it's a rule they are declaring and it isn't. It says they are putting the site in PG county to better reach an under served population. That's me. I live in PG county, not far from the Greenbelt site and when I got the shot there the FEMA personnel were talking about being glad to reach PG and DC residents. Honestly, you are making up a problem where there isn't one. |
| I’m going to start flagging for deletion the crazy poster who is obsessed with state residency. They are actively hindering vaccination efforts. |
| Sign up on the CVS site - much faster. |
You are a nutter - and DC vaccines are now available to everyone who live (or work) in DC - plenty of appointments at DC CVS. Everyone I know has gotten emails from DC Health link this week to schedule appointments. |
