It sounds like the FBI investigation started about the time the Gaetz began bragging that he had an adopted son. I wonder if the trafficked individual was not actually Nestor who would have been 17 last year.

People don't extort Congressmen who have not committed a crime. If he were not guilty he would have told the extortionist to go jump in a sink hole. Gaetz just accidentally admitted in a round about way that he is guilty.

He needs to be kicked off all committees until the investigation is resolved.

I'm not defending the guy and I hope he gets what he deserves, and I myself would never entertain the though of sex with a teen, but....

What about having sex with a 17 year old makes him the same thing as having with a 7 years old, that is "a pedophile", whereas if he had sex with an 18 year old, he'd merely be "a creep?"
