Got pregnant the first cycle trying, but I charted and had regular periods (35, my baby is 2.5 now) It's hard to ask people because everyone will have very different experiences. One of the biggest indicators of an easy fertility road is a regular period. I do have a few friends that struggled with secondary infertility, but most of them had issues getting pregnant the first time around. They all had kids though, whether the road took a month or 1.5 years. |

1st baby took a year including a surgery to remove some endo
2nd baby was SURPRISE, we had had sex exactly one time that month. Once. 3rd baby was 2 years including surgery again to remove scar tissue |
I ovulate like clockwork, conceived my first in a few months, and have been trying for a second, including IVF, for 3 years and counting. Started TTC #2 at 33 and I'm 36 now. Sometimes things can really change, really quickly. |
| was very worried I wouldn't be able to conceive when we first tried at 36 1/2. Got pregnant on first cycle. |

First at 33 (34 at delivery) pregnant on my first cycle of trying.
Second at 35 (36 at delivery) pregnant on my second cycle of trying. I’m 38 now and will start TTC in March and hopefully we have similar results. It’s my understanding that fertility really plummets at 37 not 35 as previously thought |
| First took 3 years and IVF. Second was a surprise after 2 years of “not trying/not preventing” - never in a million years expected that to happen. |
| I got pregnant with my first easily, without trying at 19. Took about 5 years of trying on and off to conceive 2nd. I was 35. I am now 36 trying to conceive 3rd. I’m in first month of tracking ovulation. |
Had 2 kids in my late 30s on the first try and am now accidentally pregnant with a 3rd at age 44 despite using BC! Want to take that one off my plate for me? Kidding.
Good luck, OP! |
