35-37 year olds -- how long to conceive #2?

Personal anecdote but I conceived easily on the first try at 32. Started trying for #2 at 37 and have had 2 losses this year.

4 months, but it happened after I took a leave of absence for a couple of months which meant, low stress for me.

In our case, first (in early 30s) took a lot longer than #2 and #3 (35/37), perhaps because of transition off the pill.

I thought coming off the pill made it easier to get pregnant? It sure was the case for me with DC#1.

I had three kids at 31, 33, and 35. Now, I am about 13 weeks pregnant with #4 at 37.

I had very short periods of TTC for all of them. I got pregnant literally every cycle that I tracked ovulation, but lost a few.

So, first kid was conceived on cycle #2 (after 1 loss), second kid on cycle #1, third kid on cycle #3 (after 2 losses), fourth kid on cycle #1 of timing ovulation after one cycle off birth control but not timing.

36...give or take it took 12 months...skipped some months due to Covid stress. It happened the cycle right after I got initial fertility testing (all my numbers were within normal range for my age) and the HSG. DH was set up to do the semen analysis but ended up not needing to. I really think it was the HSG!!!

One month. I had all three kids between the ages of 35 and 40, all conceived within 1-2 months.

DP but when I stopped the pill at age 31, I didn’t have a cycle for 3 months so it delayed even trying to get pregnant.

It took 8 months of actively TTC for #2 when I was 37.

In contrast, our firstborn was a complete surprise because we weren’t even trying (I was 34).

First month for number 1 when I was 35 (born when I was 36).

Wasn't trying with #2 when I was 38 (born when I was 39).

#1 - I was 30 and got pregnant on the second month
#2 - I was 31 and got pregnant on the third month
#3 - I was 35 when we started trying and it took a year plus 2 chemicals and a 6 week miscarriage before I got pregnant. Had baby 3 when I was 36.5 year old

So for me there was a precipitous drop in fertility between 31 and 35. I can get pregnant easily but I have bad eggs or something now.

#1: 5 cycles, using ovulation prediction (turned 35 just before conceiving)
#2: wasn't trying, just got a bit careless on vacation (37)

2nd month of trying at 36.5 years old. First cycle I messed up my timing. I’m 38 now trying again and feel like everything is working great. I hope it only takes 1-3 cycles.

I got pregnant just as easily at 35 as 27 and 33.

Conceived first at 33 - 3 months, healthy pregnancy
2nd at 37 - conceived in two months, ended in miscarriage
3rd at 37 - conceived in one try, ended in miscarriage
Conceived fourth at 38 - 1 try, healthy pregnancy
