What is your 12-15 year old DD asking for the holidays?

Possibly a Chromebook or laptop, since the school ones haven’t been great. Other possibility is a Cricut for the crafty one and a guitar for the musical one.

My DD (12) saved her money and bought herself a cricut. They’re tricky to use! Just FYI. Mine daughter has lots of patience and she still gave up on it!

I have a cricut and I find it hard too 😂 but YouTube videos are a godsend—my 13 year old loves using mine to make stickers for water bottles and chrome books

Costco has LED light s with remotes in the cHristmas section. Not sure if these are the same lights you all are talking about

This thread made me realize how "immature" for the lack of a better word my DD is , she is not 13 yet but coffee? Starbucks giftcards? Make up fridge? Phone? Phone case? Selfie stick? None of that even in her mind yet. I am also completely unaware and immature...I did not realize 13 year olds drank coffee or were allowed selfies (do they have social media accounts ?). I am not ready for this . I thought all of that starts at 15 .

Enjoy it! For real. I’m one of the PPs with an anime-obsessed 12 year old and I feel like she’s gone deep into this thing I don’t quite understand. I was a doll clothes kinda kid myself, though.

I will. And I am sure I will not understand a lot of things about my dd too

This is a great thread. My 13yo has been totally isolated so doesn’t even know what’s “in”. She loves drawing, playing Sims and wearing baggy hoodies and sweats. I’m getting her an Apple Watch. The older series 3 versions are $200 new (I personally still have the 1st gen one that works great.) She wanted one last year but hasn’t mentioned it since. With distance learning I’ve spent $0 on her so really want to make Xmas special.

I may also suggest family get her a Rolife kit. Those look neat, and could possibly become a new obsession.

^^^Same PP again

She has a iPhone, AirPods, and iPad, so the Apple Watch would fit in and hopefully it will motivate her activity and working out .

My DD is about to turn 13, and she wants makeup fridges and a phone case and a jean jacket....but she also likes crafts and LOVES reading. Lots of people enjoy makeup AND books. It’s an “in between” age. Right on the line of childhood and the upcoming teen years.

If anyone finds LED strip lights with remote that they like, please post. And any install suggestions, too. On 13-year old DS’s list but haven’t started investigating.

We got these for my daughter's room. Works great!

DD is getting a selfie light ( for the record she does not have much in way of social media save for Instagram ), a crochet for beginners kit, socks with our dogs face on them, a revlon hair dryer brush thing ( that I see in the beauty board that I may want to borrow!) new laptop, a hoodie, some snow boarding stuff, and we do scratch offs for the stockings. She got a comfy last year and wears the thing to death so good idea for those that do not have one yet. I want one!

Not sure what DD wants yet, but I bought her some really soft sweater leggings and a fleece pull over. These days she likes comfortable clothing and loves really soft clothing, like the extra soft line from the Gap. We also bought her more sports leggings and athletic jackets/hoodies. She lives in those these days plus she'll be outside a lot this Winter for running and walks.

She always wants Roblox gift cards so she'll probably get one of those too. She also likes bath products, like bath bombs, bath salts, scented body wash, etc.

I think there are plenty of 13 yr olds not into those things. My Dd is about to turn 13, and she like Starbucks, but only non-coffee Frappuccino’s. She has a phone because in the before times, she was home alone for a couple hours after school, but she’s not into social media, selflies, makeup, hair or skin care, clothes or any typical teenage girl stuff. As far as I can tell, her friends are similar. She has asked for a virtual reality headset for Christmas, but I don’t see that happening.

My 14 year old daughter asked for

Makeup from Ulta and slaybyella
Ugg slippers
Nike sneakers and sweat pants
Bodysuits from American eagle
Pandora jewelry
Michael kors bag
Candles from bath & bodyworks

There were a few other small things on her list but I can't think of them right now.
