Ours asked for a faux leather jacket, and she is getting it (bought on sale, not exactly this one, but similar).

BlissLights Sky Lite - Laser Star Projector w/ LED Nebula Cloud for Game Room Decor, Bedroom Night Light, or Mood Lighting Ambiance - Classic

If anyone finds LED strip lights with remote that they like, please post. And any install suggestions, too. On 13-year old DS’s list but haven’t started investigating.

What the heck kind of makeup are teenage girls wearing these days that needs to be refrigerated? This one blew my mind.

Masks and potions. Not make-up in the traditional sense.

Yes. Homemade or things from Lush require refrigeration. Making these things can be a creative outlet.

Any suggestions? Can be big or small.

13yr old asked for two things: PlayStation 5 or a gaming laptop

Small, simple things

What I'm getting him are neither of those things. I will admit that I"m kicking around MAYBE on the PS5 if I can actually secure one but chances are very slim, which I already told him a few times so if I do get one he won't be expecting it.

My list didnt copy! Thats the helpful part here.

Ornaments (Mandalorian - we open these on Xmas eve)
Bath bombs (fun ones that he would like, he had some Fortnite ones and he used them)
Hoodies, sleep pants, tee shirts (of anime, bands that he likes and his favorite MLB team), sweats, jacket
A huge bag of habanero almonds (inside joke but he likes them)
A scooter (razor esque but slightly bigger wheels)
Hunger Games book boxset and a few other books I know he'll like (one about baseball, one about WWII)
Toilet spray (joke stocking stuffer)
Solid disc cologne (will be good for locker when school ever happens again)
Hit-A-Way batting swing trainer

These are the led strip lights we just purchased on Amazon, for our 12 year old and 14 year old. They installed them on their own and they are happy with the functionality.

PPs - do you have more detail/specific recommendations in both the Rolife kits and LED strips lights?

How hard are the Rolife kits to assemble and how is the quality?

What kind of adhesive is used for the strip lights? It makes me nervous to think of peeling paint when removing them.

Thanks is everyone for all the great ideas!

If your DD likes beauty/make-up/skin care, etc. a Beauty Advent calendar is fun
https://www.sephora.com/beauty/beauty-advent-calendars

There are also lots of other fun advent calendars, like Harry Potter figurine ones, 12 days of socks (all sorts of themes), to the regular candy ones. Its a gift to open on Christmas, and they can open a "door" each day after. Keeps the fun going longer, plus they get all the neat little toys or products to keep and try.

+1 Every single thing on my 12 year old’s list is anime-related.
