+2. Give the middle name some heft and meaning, particularly if Grace isn't a family name.

+3
and grace is SO feminine. I’d love it with a masculine or family middle name:
Grace Moms Maiden Name
Grace Maternal Fathers Name

Grace Elizabeth is as boring as you could possibly get and I do NOT care about creativity at all.

Something like

Grace Cooper Law
Grace Smithy Lundt
Grace Miller Lee

just sounds so balanced, somehow.

OP back again. I think you guys are right. Here are the two options:

Grace Jaeger (or Jagger as some in family have Americanized it)
Grace Albrecht

Thanks again!

We’re thinking along the lines of Christina, Catherine, Elizabeth but nothing really sounds right.

Help, please! Thank you!

You are really overthinking this. It’s a middle name. 95% of people she meets in life will never ever know what her middle name is. So just pick one. There is no right or wrong answer.

Except the 5% of the time people do hear a middle name are huge public events like graduation, wedding, here Senate swearing in ceremony...

Grace Jaeger is definitely my vote.

These are both good. I like Jaeger better, but they're both nice! Good luck.

Ending 'S' sound flows to: a, e, i, o, u, w, c/K, L, m, n, p, t, w

So any name starting with those sounds.

With single syllables on the ends, any number of syllables works: one Grace Ann Lite; two Grace Anna Lite, or three Grace Annabel Lite; or four Grace Annabella Lite. Personally, I find two and four flow best, and one is always easy.

My personal picks would be:
Anne
Adrianna
Olivia, though S.O.L. is not a great monogram
Angelica
Mae
Penelope
Eve

Even knowing that these are likely both family names, I could not hate Jaeger/Jagger as a given name more, so if those are the options I'd choose Albrecht.

Jaeger brings up meister, and Jagger sounds like the try-hard fake-cool Ashley Simpson/Dorito from RHOBH thing.

Personally, Jaeger makes me think of giant mechs destroying Kaiju, but she can always use the translation:

Grace Hunter L___

Different strokes... I love Grace Jaeger! I would choose that name even if Jaeger wasn’t a family name!

My name is Grace and here is what I wish my parents had done. Chosen a pretty female name for my middle, instead of a family surname. Two syllables, because two single syllable names together in sequence can be awkward or cutesy. I wish they’d given me a name I would consider using as my first name, when Grace got old. Phoebe, Laney, Harper, or Kendra.

I don’t like these options, but if you do, that’s all that matters. There is no way to predict what Little Grace will think.

How is Jaeger pronounced? I never heard of it.

Grace Emily.
