Harassing Columbia Heights diners

Anonymous
It occurs to me that a really effective ploy at this point would be to pay some obnoxious people to harass diners and try to make them shout pro BLM stuff. Breitbart would eat it up.

Tell them you’re black and that they need to back the fluckup.

Right! I identify as black! Love it.

If you read the thread, it makes clear that a Black protest leader urged the White protesters in their group to come to the front to harass the diners.

Now that it’s blown up, BLM supporters are claiming these were just clueless White kids being a nuisance or even Trump supporters trying to create bad publicity. If only.

I don’t think a White diner being harassed to offer up her solidarity compared to another Black man getting shot by police, but these tactics by spoiled, aggressive youths - even if their behavior is fueled by a mix of anger about police brutality and utter uncertainty as to their own futures - will benefit anyone other Trump, especially when most Democrats in senior positions won’t criticize their behavior.

We are so screwed.

The diner is absolutely being harassed and it should be considered assault. These leaders aren't leaders and police brutality is an issue with all races if you look at statistics. Assaulting innocent people is never ok and that's not protesting. Those weren't kids. They looked like people in their 20's.

I’m over here laughing my ass off. All you progressive SJW were lapping this behavior up when it happens to republicans. But now since anyone is fair game and heaven forbid your bubble of safety has been breached, you are all melting down.
It’s shit like this is why Tennessee nip these thugs in bud with increased penalties. Hearing lots of screams for the bad, bad racist police now.

It’s bad. But I think this is the awful counter-reaction to Trump and his coarseness. The tone right now - set by the President - is that bullying is acceptable. Dehumanization is OK. Why wouldn’t you expect the radical left to adopt the language and tactics of the hard right?

That needs to change. Stuff like this will only get worse if Trump is re-elected because he makes it acceptable for all sides to move to their respective extremes.

Also, I doubt any of these assh-ts are voting for Trump or Biden. In fact, their social media likely expresses a hatred for Biden. These are Bernie acolytes. Can you imagine how much worse it would be if Bernie was the nominee?

Maybe so, but it tends to suggest that “when they go low, we go high” were just empty words.

“We stay low, and pay off our hookers” is the Republican motto. Is that really any better?

Also, you think this clowns give a f#ck what Michelle Obama says? Uh, no.

Oh blow it out your ass. With a president who actually wants people to have health care a ton would simmer down.

This is just as stupid but way less cringe than the bizarre foot-washing rituals from earlier in the summer.

Oh sure that would make this all go away.

Idiot.

I think it’s time to buy a gun. Never thought I’d say that.

It's really too bad. I used to spend thousands of dollars per year between penn quarter, chinatown and 14th street restaurants. Now with all the thugs and shootings we decided to no longer go in for DC dining until law and order returns to the city. Probably will require a new mayor and the city may never come back from this downward spiral.

Pushing for universal health coverage doesn’t excuse these tactics.

Biden supporters don’t do this kind of idiocy. This is hard left Bernie Bro antics, who are just mimicking Trump in their bullying.

So you admit Trump also promotes bullying in American discourse? I’m glad we see eye to eye!

Good job making 10,000 new Trump voters.

This is the same logic used during Mao's Cultural Revolution, by the Khmer Rouge, and by the Bolsheviks.

Utterly deplorable and racist behavior on display.
