um, those are admirable goals, but not for me. Childfree is a thing. So is not getting married.

But you aren't a movie star being asked on the red carpet about it. He says what the "right" answer is because he is put on the spot. "Yes I want to be married and had kids someday" <smile into cameras>

Marisa Tomei said she didn't want kids, and she's a woman. Much easier for a man.

Leo Dicaprio a bigger male star than Chris has gone on record as having kids and family not being a priority for him.

He is Captain America, he has profile that I'm sure needs to be maintained as clean and wholesome.

+1

And Leo has a reputation for being a man whore or only dating young models. He and his friends even had some gross nickname in the press about being whores. Wholesome Leo’s reputation is not. Chris Evans is seen as all American nice guy who visits children’s hospitals.

He seems happy and healthy. Who are we to judge his personal life.

He's no longe Captain America and saying marriage and family is not a priority for me right now does not equal I'm a dirty reckless and you should forbid your kids from watching my movies.

Y’all act like you are into entertainment and stars — except for the weirdo who insists lusting after a star is immature, that person should unclench because they sound nuts — and then act like him saying “nah I don’t want no wife and kids ever, yuckyyuckyuck” wouldn’t be something the media and fans would lose their minds over and hound the shit out of him on all the platforms. It is easier for him to just smile and say “yes, I would like that someday” pose for the camera and move on down the carpet to the next reporter.

So what you're saying is he doesn't actually want those things he's just playing PR for people like yourself who at 45 think she has a chance with him.

I think part of the reason he hasn’t been married is because he has been contracted as one of the main leads of the marvel movies for 10+ years. Making it significantly hard to date normally, especially since the movies were mostly shot in Atlanta. Most of the other leads (RDJ, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo) were all married before they fully got invested with marvel. Many actors have spoken out about this - wanting to not be tied to a marvel franchise because it meant a 10 year commitment

He said he was single on Bill Maher, last week.
So he can't say he doesn't want kids and a familly because gasp he's Captain America, but a transatlantic booty call is just so pure?
You all kill me. Bindi Irwin does something actually wholesome ...marriage and baby, and you all freak out.
40 year old man, you have to babby him , excuse him wit his life being so hard whatever and he has to be wholesome, so of course, he can't get married. LOL.

He also said he wants kids BUT he thinks its more omportant to find the right person. This seems sane/normal to me. Kids are really secondary, and the easy part. Finding the right person is the hard part.

He has said some very misogynistic things. Tha'ts probably why. Who would want to put up with that BS?

sadly, this could be true, but he has had numerous GF in the past. Maybe he's just waiting for "the one". I wish I could be the one, but I'm married, and 10 yrs older than him.

Why is being gay sad to you?

Because it would mean he was scared to live his truth and more importantly would not want to sleep with me.

Okay to the first half of the sentence. The last one

FFS. I'm gay. Its funny.

That's nice, though I didn't ask. It;s still weird a grown person actually thinks they'll be sleeping with their celeb crush, or has a celeb crush for that matter.

No, it's weird that you think it is weird. DP

No. I'm pretty sure well-adjusted people get over that by 18 at the lastest early 21. If someone is still having crushes on celebs and thinks they're going to get with them in their ate 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond something is lacking socially, emotionally, or mentally.

Now if you just think he's hot, that's normal, we can be attracted to someone at any age. But thinking he's going to slee p with you ( unless you actually no him) like pp states is immature past the teens, and yes weird.

NP here. Lighten up. First pp made a lighthearted quip. And it was FUNNY.

To you. But you also find Sarah Silverman and Amy Schumer hilarious, not my style

Can he though? Based on what?

This is probably it. If we take of the fan hats and think of him as our 40 year old friend or cousin who hasn't settled down, it's probably the same reasons. Usually, some sort of flaw the refuse to see or refuse to work on and just hoping they find someone willing to tolerate their load of BS.
