The average age in UK is 37 for men 29 in the US he's older than average in both countries. Marriage and children in 30s is not unheard of for Hollywood men

He dated jenny slate for a while. She doesn’t seem like she’d play beard.
I think he’s in a tough place because she seems like he likes a smart woman with substance but he’s also said that he thinks its too hard to date outside the industry because the lives are just too different. (I say “it’s okay honey....you just need an understanding liberal lawyer who won’t mind your crazy work schedule and travel and isn’t the jealous type. I’ll be here waiting.”)

That sounds like a lot of BS. That sounds like someone who wants to do what he wants to do , but doesn't want to be held accountable, and blame it on the industry.
