I find it interesting how no one can find anything critical at all about a near 40 year old man who claims to want marriage, but can't seem to figure it out. Oh he's just anxious and bookish.


But there's 5 pages crucifying a 22 year old woman for getting married and starting a family like she wants to.

Thanks! He’s actually a great guy and loves her, but he was married young in the military and had two kids and a divorce before 30. He is not interested in remarriage or kids. She really wants kids so he’s a dead end. He even had a vasectomy.

He has crippling social anxiety that he has worked hard to overcome. There were rumors that he sleeps around but gets costars to cover for him. One rumor was that Elisabeth Olsen was his lover but that he didn't want it knows so she covered it up with Tom Hiddleston. Rumor is also that he hooks up a lot and is naughty, naughty, but keeps it quiet.

She'd have step kids, but if she's looking for a baby and marriage I agree she needs to move on.

You only ask this question because in your universe people have to marry in their 20s.

In Hollywood and in large parts of Europe, this isn't the case or the norm, or the societal expectation at all.
