The article states that most of the protesters in Minneapolis were from out of state - that was debunked and the major admitted it wasn’t true. Please get your facts straight. |
In NW DC:
“They parked their cars on Jenifer Street and staged there. It was right in front of our home. They drove in , mostly in MD plates, many in high end vehicles. They ran towards Wisconsin avenue and then came back with bags and bags of looted items. Our road is littered with tissue paper and other discarded merchandise. They all rolled out around 11:00 and then others returned around 12:00 and it all began again. I did not see any police back on my street. We have video if they think it will be helpful.” https://bethesdamagazine.com/bethesda-beat/police-fire/looters-damage-businesses-in-friendship-heights-sunday-night/ |
Their color doesn’t seem to matter when they’re white eh? That does matter to the peaceful black protesters who are getting blamed for it. |

A Twitter account that tweeted a call to violence and claimed to be representing the position of "Antifa" was in fact created by a known white supremacist group, Twitter said Monday. The company removed the account. |
The looters I've seen have been mostly black. One report said that the white guys are the ones breaking the windows and then the black gangs come in to loot. But, I think it is likely different in every city. But, lots of these are obviously coordinated. If people want to protest, fine. But, they should set up their own protest in the daytime. Otherwise, they are getting caught up in the rioting. |
You've seen what you wanted to see. |
DP I’m only paying attention to my own city and here in NYC the vast majority of looters are black.....that’s from news video. I agree with the PP that the peaceful protests should be held in the day with a defined end time that allows for people to disperse. We’ve got an 8pm curfew tonight because 11pm did t work at all. |
So now we are telling people when they can protest? |
Yes. If the cops can't tell who is who, then everything needs to get shut down. Peaceful protesting is everyone's right and that right was snatched by the looters and anarchists. Destruction of private property in our underserved communities only makes things worse...businesses leave, people leave, capital will leave these cities and leave only the broken and underserved behind; mostly black and brown folks. The downward spiral continues for these communities. |
NYC is kind of big. You're admitting you've barely seen anything. |
Yep. Don't forget the police agents provocateurs. Sometimes the White leftists and White rightists will dress up as each other, and the undercover cops will portray themselves as either, usually as the leftists, though. And yes, there's Twitter showing (mostly Black) locals, cops, leftists, and rightists all behaving badly in glorious color. Of the four, the cops are the ones with a public service mission. The other three are a mix of thoughtful true believers who might be reasoned with, leftists who think one more smashed Starbucks window will bring on the revolution, rightists itching to shoot brown people, folks who want to beat up people, and folks who want free stuff. (The police tend towards the rightists and beating up people veins). It's a true cornucopia of the worst that America can offer. A few random thoughts: 1. Antifa isn't a blanket term for anyone to the left of Mitt Romney (or the more charitable Republicans/rightists might make Joe Biden the demarcating line). It's a loose coalition of anti-capitalist, anti-racist, probably anarchist groups that show up at world leadership gatherings to protest. Think the Battle of Seattle. Some are more 2. Not everyone who thinks just letting everyone amble into this country is an irrevocable racist equal to the KKK. 3. If crime's down 50-60% since the 1970s, why do we have so many more police? Why do people feel they're under more siege than the era of Bronx is burning and Summer of Sam? Yet, we sort of survived after 1968. Whether Reaganism was the best of a lot of bad choices or shoved down our throats like John Holmes in one of his movies, I don't know. Republicans still have most of the levers of government, folks. They've got the Presidency, the Senate, the Supreme Court, and most state houses/governor's mansions. They can't just blame the Democrats for this one. But they'll try. |
Still about 20-30% of the folks were from out of state - indicating at least *some* outside agitation (not sure if leftist/anarchist or rightist.) |
Just watch it live on foxnews every night. There are all races participating. In some areas it’s mainly black, some mainly white and Latino. It is so upsetting to see this go on and have nothing done about it. |
