Ha! Me too. We are one person every other parking spot. Only 6 total, including the instructor.

Looking forward to the citizen arrest.

Also, is someone charging for this?

Not everyone has the space at home, or the drive to do it on their own. And some of us care about the health and wellbeing of our friends (which includes mental health), so are just trying to help and encourage them to deal in ways that are highly safe and legal.

"I care about my friends so much I want to gather them together during a pandemic and breathe heavily!"

If your mental health is so shaky it will fall apart without gathering a group of friends together to exercise you should seek the support of a therapist. Otherwise, stop using that as an excuse to flaunt the rules the rest of us are following.

NP here. It is not against the law. It's not for you to decide, as much as that might bother you. People still have the right to act, go out, etc within the requirements of the stay-at-home order. People still have certain civil rights as well that have not been removed under these orders. Stop policing other people.

No you do not have the right to do what you want. Once a state of emergency is declared the state has broad powers. Your civil rights are suspended during this time. It’s people like you who are alway the problem. You are totally self absorbed and you will be the first to want all resources when you get sick.

Breath. Read the stay at home orders. What the OP proposes is not against the order at least where I live in Virginia. That may change if the governor changes the order, but as of April 6, a group of people under 10, staying 6 feet apart, not related, exercising, on a place that isn’t closed, isn’t against the order. So no, you don’t get to decide. Look, I am staying home and working out in my basement. I am not sure why you get hysterical and make the insane leap that I am part of the problem, that I want all the resources. Calm down.

People like you are also a problem. You think you are law enforcement, interpret things a certain way based on your opinions, and then try to socially control people, leaving room for your and others biases to take over. No, all of our civil rights are not suspended in national emergency. Not all. The freedom of assembly more than 10, yes. But under, so far no. What part do you not understand? Run for Governor if that’s what you want. But you and Karen don’t get to decide or make a citizens arrest. You decide for you and your family. I decide for mine. We probably are deciding the same thing. That’s how it works until the government changes the order.

Yeah whatever. You can go clap for medical responders while you flout the restrictions that could save their lives.

What happens if someone falls and gets hurt. You just stare at the person? You call 911 and waste precious emergency services? And, what do you do if someone falls into your 'space'? Everyone instantly jumps several feet in the opposite direction to keep your distance? I think you can just do a class in front of your iPad or TV at home. No need to flout the rules. I don't think exercise classes are in the spirit of flattening the curve... it's a risk, and unfortunately, the risk can effect others, too. It's only a few months, just deal like the rest of us.

I am one, which is why I am staying home when I am not at work. You need to also take some law classes and maybe re-read what the OP wrote. OP asked if it was legal, and as of today, yes. Your hysteria is not healthy. I also don't need someone like you calling the police at my nonwhite kids, who you might think at too close together, or shouldn't be out for a walk together, when it's perfectly legal. Your hysteria and needing to police people can also get people like us killed. It has before this coronavirus even started. "Yeah whatever"? Channel that in a more positive direction.

Someone can also fall and require 911 services at the grocery store. By PP’s reasoning, we should forego grocery trips as well.

Agree that it is legal in VA and that everyone should calm down.

All you people feeling the need to push the limit with regard to the social distancing guidelines should be asking yourselves why. Why is it that you can't handle this? It sucks for everyone. Barring legitimate mental health issues, why can't you suck it up and deal? I'm guessing none of you were very serious athletes because you seem to be lacking in mental toughness.

Legal but stupid.

You wish for people to be flogged? This is bringing out the worst in everyone.
