No, you won't. Even if you're a police officer, you likely won't. They're emptying the jails. Maybe a fine.

We’re not supposed to purposely gather. We’re supposed to avoid getting near other people.

Stretching the “rules” for a new virus is not a good idea given new evidence is still being discovered.

The next few weeks are going to be very tough.

How will you feel if it turns out the virus can transmit over 8, 10, or more feet?

How will you feel if you didn’t do your part in all this?

Please - stay home

This. No groups that don’t live together. This isn’t about you. This virus is potentially deadly and new. They’re learning new things about it everyday. From CNN-

A prestigious scientific panel told the White House Wednesday night that research shows coronavirus can be spread not just by sneezes or coughs, but also just by talking, or possibly even just breathing.

"While the current [coronavirus] specific research is limited, the results of available studies are consistent with aerosolization of virus from normal breathing," according to the letter, written by Dr. Harvey Fineberg, chairman of a committee with the National Academy of Sciences.

Fineberg told CNN that he will wear start wearing a mask when he goes to the grocery store.

Totally fine IMO. I am in VA and think that this would be permitted under my reading of the most recent executive order.

Can people at least try to have some sympathy for coaches and trainers who have lost all income but don’t qualify for unemployment? If they are abiding by the social distancing rules I do not see an issue.

Look, you (we) have all go t it. Look at those of us taking it in stride versus the stressed out nutjobs.

I'm going for a walk now with my friend. If you are a stressed out nutjob, you better just stay in.

My trainer is doing Zoom sessions and she's killing it - great attendance!

And once again, the "social distancing rules" do not say gather as long as you stay 6 feet apart

It’s people like you who will keep this going for longer than necessary, and who will be the reason that governments will have to resort to formal lockdowns.

I’m not a stressed out nutjob. I’m also not a selfish narcissist hell bent on just doing whatever I want despite the fact that my actions have implications to my family, community, country, and world at large.

JFC people - the coronavirus FAQs in the Post say it’s fine to be outdoors if you maintain a 6 foot distance from other people. Why would a group of 4 people standing 6 feet apart be cause for arrest? That is ridiculous, not to mention that arresting and detaining people increases virus transmission. Use your common sense.

I am not concerned with people saying to just stay home for 2+ months, but a reasonable (legal, healthy) middle ground.

Don't do it-- Nosy Nancy and Sanctimonious Suzy will call the cops

How about using common sense and realizing that organizing social gatherings, even those that are planned to be 6’ apart, goes against all common sense right now?

It’s this type of mindset that is going to cause the virus to continue to spread despite the best efforts of many people. Just. STAY HOME

I've been doing a boot camp every morning in a parking lot in my neighborhood. So far nobody has been arrested. We are more than 6 feet apart. It's more comfortable that way.
