Mini group exercise class outdoors - legal? Arrestable?

| This will be a disaster. Just like the choir group that caught covid, these people will be breathing hard and will get each other infected if anyone is asymptomatic. This will most likely lead to a revision on max number of group down to 2 like Germany. |

Eh, it is strongly discouraged in MD to exercise with anyone outside your household. In DC it is specifically prohibited. VA, up to you I guess. Seems like it would be better to stop pushing limits so government officials don't have to waste time redoing policies when the have bigger things to focus on. Also so they don't tighten everything so much we can't go out at all. |

More and more evidence the virus can travel through air. 6 feet is not a magic bubble. And it’s for when we can’t avoid being around other people.
We’re not supposed to purposely gather. We’re supposed to avoid getting near other people. Stretching the “rules” for a new virus is not a good idea given new evidence is still being discovered. The next few weeks are going to be very tough. How will you feel if it turns out the virus can transmit over 8, 10, or more feet? How will you feel if you didn’t do your part in all this? Please - stay home |

Just like 1939 occupied Europe, present day Cuba/North Korea or Soviet Union. Social control by encouraging neighbors to turn in neighbors. Disgusting. It's incredible how willing so many people are to live under totalitarian control. |

Stop trying to find loopholes. Regardless of legality, it goes against what the spirit of what all the social /physical distancing measures and rules are trying to accomplish, which is to keep people home and not comingling with people we don’t share a house with. An exercise class is not a necessity that people should be leaving their homes and mixing with others because of. Health experts pretty much everywhere are trying to give the message for people to get outside to exercise, not to socialize.
The sooner that people can just comply with what is being asked, the sooner life can get back to normal. |
