It DOES NOT mean “act like every day is a weekend”, where you get to go do fun stuff that you don’t normally do.

IT MEANS STAY IN YOUR F’ING HOUSE!!!

If I were in charge of the police, I would issue standing orders to give people like you beat downs with sticks and rubber hoses the first time you were caught outside your house. The second time, they’d just shoot yiu in the head right there on the street.

People like OP are the whole freakin reason we’re in a pandemic right now.

STAY HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are not under a shelter in place order, at least in Virginia. Going to the parks to exercise, with family members, or even with others if you are social distancing, is expressly permitted.
In Virginia the Governor told us to only go to parks if we can walk or bike there. Parking lots are closed. Do not drive to a park. Stay in your neighborhood.

Busybodies continue to be a worse disease than coronavirus.

Stop telling others what to do. So annoying.
I'm not telling you anything. This is from the Governor.

NP here, this is exactly what the Governor did say at Monday's press conference.

Not true. You can go outside.

He said if you can walk or bike to the park to go hiking that’s fine. What part of reading comprehension is difficult for you? I watched the press conference and he did indeed say this. He specifically said he didn’t want people driving to get to a park to hike far from their house. Them the breaks.

Wait. He said I could go outside my house? Doesn't he know that my neighbors are ready to shoot me if I step foot on the lawn or approach my corona (mail) box?

Sitting here giggling at "corona (mail) box"

We went to a Virginia state park two weekends ago and the parking lot was unusually busy for the early morning. We went out on a trail we knew wasn't popular (too long for newbies) and when we came back, the parking lot was packed and people were not keeping their distance.

If you're a hiker, you'll want to take this time off. You don't want to be out there.

That’s only true on weekends. We’ve had no trouble finding local trails that aren’t crowded on weekdays. Weekends— no way. Even our usual deserted trails are now packed on Sat & Sun.
