I wanted to post that this kickboxing gym is still open on social media but I have a feeling people will try and shame me for working out at a gym .. .

So don't post genius.
Do you need to announce every little thing going on in your life on social media?
Go to the friggin gym and work out if that's what you need to keep from freaking out.
But what's the big deal about refraining from posting? Do you absolutely need to do that too or else you'll freak out?

I’m not a poster !! I just wanted to reach out to my gym friends.

Give it a try...it's still an effective means of communication.

What is that???

It's called a metaphorical image. When you get back from the gym take a minute to peruse Google and look it up.

Sorry grandpa I’d rather spend my time staying as healthy and fit as possible.

If you're susceptible to panic attacks because of social media shaming and don't know how to solve that simple dilemma (duh...then don't post doofus) then you don't sound very emotionally healthy or mentally fit.

This is the problem! ICU?!? Healthy individuals recover from this with no problem like the tens of thousands in China. The old and sick are the vulnerable ones just like with the flu . Tom Hanks and his wife are hanging out in their rented mansion watching Netflix recovering just fine.

Typical Trumpster nonsense. "If you're fit, your fine." It just doesn't work that way.

The CDC has already revealed that this initial assumption was incorrect. As many as 20-33% of those age 45-65 (your age group) will be affected seriously enough to be hospitalized from this infection. And the death rate in that age group was between 0.4 and 1.3%. Yes, you are less likely to die from the virus, but you are still extremely likely to be ill enough to be hospitalized. And if you are hospitalized, you will take valuable resources away from others who need to be hospitalized including many older than you who have a greater risk of dying. So, just try to be a little less selfish and just stay away from the gym so that you can stay out of the hospital and leave the resources for others.

And those 20-33% who are affected seriously have preexisting health conditions! Not the individuals who exercise and eat healthy with zero medical conditions ..

You need to pay more attention to the news:

https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1257133/coronavirus-news-latest-covid-19-coronavirus-young-people-deaths-world-health-organization

And you dont deserve a spot in the hospital if you do get sick.

Several leading health professionals have warned that young healthy, even “sporty” people are at risk of dying from coronavirus. Dr Ignace Demeyer, an emergency doctor in Belgium described the pandemic as “nothing short of terrifying”, as he spoke of his surprise at the increasing number of young people showing severe symptoms. A second doctor, Dr Bruce Aylward of the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned people as young as 30 were dying from the virus.

The recent CDC report came to similar conclusions. But, go ahead and go as long as you maintain good social distancing after you leave the gym. Stay away from everyone else, then you're only a risk to yourself. As long as you only kill yourself, it's not going to bother us. Just don't infect others.

You have a funny idea of what "need" means. I think you need to get over yourself and find that motivation somehow.

Are you listening to what Trump is actually saying? I have no idea how people can listen to him and his team and conclude he is anti science or minimizing the threat.

"This is their new hoax."

"Then poof, in a few days it will be gone."

"We have 1 million new tests."

"10 on a scale of 10."

"We'll have a vaccine very quickly".

"We have a new drug approved."

I get that you're trolling Vlad, but you gotta try to do better. Real Americans can't listen to literally 30 seconds of Trump speaking without concluding that he's anti science and a total idiot also. That's why the dow dips 300 points every time he opens his mouth.
