Shaming me for going to gym right now ..

Am I the only one that thinks this is a troll? Are people really this ignorant and selfish?

Why would someone risk becoming a vector and hurt so many people for such a superficial reason?

No, just people who are capable of working out without being in a group setting. This need to workout with others is the epitome of selfishness. There are easy alternatives - a million streaming videos.

Never met anyone in shape that works out at home! Never! Just saying..

Bizarre.. I can only conclude that you don't know many people then.

Agreed, my entire family is in great shape using a home gym. Saves so much time and flexibility with busy work hours.

Sadly I don't think it is a troll. I'm on a Peloton fb group (I know, I know..!) and someone did a poll asking what people were doing in terms of going about their lives as usual, social distancing, isolation, etc. Most people are distancing or isolating totally but there was a small number of people who said they are living their lives as normal. There are people out there who seem to think this is all a hoax, or that it doesn't apply to them because they're "not scared" or whatever.

Yeah that's a weird comment... I know people whose garages contain nicer/better gym equipment than a lot of typical chain gyms.

good for you - I fear taking these kind of actions and bragging about them probably because I have watched way too many shows and movies about pandemics and it always starts out this way and then just goes donwhill making such brads and actions seem so silly

Well said!
I completely agree with this.. And I think all the overweight people should not be given insulin, knee replacements, heart valves etc.. Smokers should not be given any cancer treatments and lung transplants. alcoholics should not be given liver transplants or dialysis. I think people that get any health condition because of their chosen lifestyle should not receive any medical attention whatsoever!

So don't post genius.
Do you need to announce every little thing going on in your life on social media?
Go to the friggin gym and work out if that's what you need to keep from freaking out.
But what's the big deal about refraining from posting? Do you absolutely need to do that too or else you'll freak out?

Right. Save the medical interventions for the brave souls currently vegging out on their couches, eating potato chips and slurping down margaritas...as their azzes get bigger and bigger and bigger.

Save the Type IIs!!!

Op - I think it's fine to go to your kick boxing class. Stay mentally strong and physically healthy.

Give it a try...it's still an effective means of communication.
