WIS elementary parent here. I am very unimpressed with the distance learning.

Distance learning is definitely more difficult for younger children. My neighbors are likewise quite disappointed in the early years distance learning from Sidwell and GDS. But all seem happier than the parents I’ve talked to with kids in DCPS elementary (Lafayette and Key). I can understand being frustrated with paying private school prices for elementary school distance learning. Can’t possibly be worth the money, and it must feel like you’re paying mostly to hold the spot.

Same here, very impressed with the virtual schooling going on for MS and HS.

I can't believe any of our kids' esteemed teachers has been wasting time in this anonymous forum instead of working directly with admins to solve whatever the problem was.
