Really?! It seems like middle america, appalachia, NE are filled with white people ODing. I could be wrong but I thought the whole reason for opioid intervention was because white rural and suburban communities are being devestated by opioids.

OP here. I love the Hill for many reasons, and it's really just getting nicer. I think as long as you're not taking long walks at night, you'll be fine. I don't think any urban setting can avoid the consequences of the opioid epidemic, income inequality, and lack of affordable housing.
