Best party favor/goody bag your 5/6 year old ever received?

A single favor such as a reusable water bottle or a large stick of rock candy tied with a ribbon is vastly, vastly preferred to yet another stupid "goody bag" full of total crap.

It's the obligatory "beautiful stick of rock candy in cellophane with a ribbon" post on a party favors thread. I have to assume you are the same poster on every favors thread and that you REALLY have a thing for rock candy... or is more than one person actually impressed by it?

I mean, ok - it's sugar and kids will therefore like to eat it... but really, the BEST favor you've ever seen?

The best party favor dd6 has gotten so far was a silver bracelet stamped with a favorite line from the movie that was the party theme. She wore that every day for a while, and still does sometimes. I'm guessing that it cost about as much as the gift we gave the birthday child, but if you're saying money is no object then maybe something like that would be an idea.

those little lego mystery minifigure bags or similar- or mini lego bag set.

Thank you for any suggestions (except “skip the favors” because that isn’t going to happen).

how old? it will depend. some of the favs from parties my kids have been too:

little thing of lego
mini balls
plastic slinky
a surprise shopkins thingy
(almost anything that has a little 'surprise' element to it)

Yeah, that's a huge NO.

Op, LEGO kits would be a big hit!

+1
Legos, high brand water bottle, glove and hat sets (for winter) can't have too many. Kids earphones, big lol balls, transformers

I don’t actually know any kids that want rock candy. It might look pretty but most times when I’ve been at parties that have these, kids will come up to me, ask me to open it , and then lick it and say they don’t like it. My own kids are happy with any favor usually even if it is junk. I would never do no favors though, did you all ever go to parties as kids? I loved getting a goody bag at the end.

What is the theme? Girl/boy?

Best favor we have received is a toy that is the same theme.

Pokémon cards
Beyblades
Nerf gun
Angry bird game
Light sabers

I think the biggest hit ever were nunchucks. My boys absolutely loved the foam ones they received.

I once handed out light up swords and kids seem to like them in kindergarten. Not sure if the parents liked them.
