Look, I lived in a Muslim country for years and I am confident I know the history of the hijab. And that women wear it regardless of their "standing" in the faith. You're wrong to make this about her being Muslim. She doesn't make other Muslim women look bad because this has nothing to do with her being Muslim. It's okay to criticize a person (even a racial or religious minority---and especially an elected official in a position of power) when they actually do something wrong. Don't defend her. She's just as trashy as cheater Miley Cyrus. Both seem to have the morals of an alley cat. Now that we know this about her, it's fair to question her true motives and agenda since we have no reason to believe her political actions are driven by some pure moral compass.

You know who cheats? Selfish people who lack empathy and can't exercise self-restraint. You know who takes big risks and cheats with colleagues? People who believe they'll never get caught, or if they do their position/power will protect them. It was also revealed that she filed joint tax returns with a man to whom she was not married. And, local MN reporters continue to dig into her marriage to a man some have said is her brother for immigration purposes.

And, now this. Did she think nobody would notice? Or, does she just not care? Does she think nobody will question the payments made to this man? Perhaps the payments were all above board, but why bring even more scrutiny on one's personal life and finances?

I think she's reached a comfortable level of delusion just like the potus. She thinks she's untouchable now. She can either defend herself using her platform, or she can rely on her defenders on social media to handle it for her.
