At bottom of page it says parents can get cards for students in private school or who are home-schooled at a DCOneCard center.

Maybe her private school kid has better reading skills.

You mean this part:

Required Documentation
To receive a replacement School Year 2018-2019 KRF SmarTrip card at a DC One Card Center, students will need to bring one of the following as proof of eligibility:

Current DC One Card, or
Student ID/USI number
Private and home-schooled students should bring proof of identity, proof of DC residency, and proof of school enrollment/OSSE approval for home-schooling.

Bolded the relevant part for snotty posters. I called them. They said they haven't decided about private school kid distribution yet for 2019-2020. In addition disregard the handout times for the Deanwood and Judiciary Square DC Card Centers since those haven't been decided yet either.

Thanks for making that call and posting, PP. Saves me having to do it. The KRF webpages are neither clear nor complete but I guess if they haven’t actually decided how they are going to do this, that makes sense.

I will call again next week just to see if maybe someone has made some decisions. Fingers crossed.

Glad to see that this year the KRF cards will not be regular Smartrip cards. I hope it cuts down on fraud (adults using the student cards) as it will be somewhat more obvious.
