Wow. Thanks for your personal opinion based on your personal life experiences. |
Haven’t read the whole thread but my old mom boss makes $100k+ a year doing freelance graphic design for different companies. |
I am so sick of this "women need to build up other women"! Choices have consequences. |
This basically sums it up. And FTR, I couldn't care less what sahms think about parenting or wohms. I similarly couldn't care less what other wohms think about me. You do you, and I'll do me. Good luck to all of us. |
'' You are sick of entreaties for women to *support* one another. WTF is wrong with you? I suspect you are an ugly troll. Go back under your bridge. |
Im always curious at how poorly SAHM moms seems to manage their time, especially when kids are in school. I think our "village" really benefits from both WOHM and SAHM moms in the mix but hands down, at all school, community events its always the SAHMs who are super late and not on top to things or complaining they have no time to help. WOHM moms, for better or worse, must have top notch time management skills and it shows with our kids too. |
Eh more likely this is just related to childcare. Much easier to ask an existing nanny to work late to attend a community event than rely on a teenage babysitter you don't call upon often who may or may not show up on time, etc. |
EVERY mother I know IS a "working" mother. Please stop insulting parents who work very hard to raise their children. |
Hilarious that you assume all working moms have a nanny! |
I didn't. |
Of course you did. And you attributed that to why working moms are better equipped to show up at evening school events. Yet, very few working moms have nannies. They do tend to have spouses...just like sahms. And daycare centers aren't available to watch kids after hours, so we hire teenagers to babysit. |
Lol. No. |
Agreed. SAHM are not working moms since they do not have A JOB. They are in fact hard working, but no, you do not work. |

So you think the first PP made a choice to become fully disabled? |
