I'm guessing you are kidding around, but if not, give it a rest. She apologies right after venting (in the same thread) and then apologies again in that later "confession". She's nice. Deal with it. |

I'm nice, too. I'd gladly put all my "nice" posts under my name and leave all my not-so-nice posts anonymous but I don't feel the weird need to do that. The only reason she apologized (anonymously) was because Jeff jumped down her throat. (And I'm sure Jeff's involvement was the only reason she fessed up to this particular anonymous post; was she afraid he would out her as a normal person who occasionally complains?) |

The anonymous post was in Dec. 2008. Her "confession" was in March. 2009. I seriously doubt she was sweating out those three months in fear that I would expose her. For what it's worth, I had no idea the person to whom I replied in Dec. 2008 was Zumbamama. Re-reading the message almost a year later, I see that I may have wrongly understood her message as an attack on DC when it was actually aimed only at the DC Red Cross office. I'm protective of my city. That would be true whoever was posting. Also, your original charge was that ZM is sock puppetting to fake her own fan club. That's simply not true. The fact that a year ago she posted a single message that is tame by DCUM standards is of little interest. Your vendetta against her really puts in doubt your claim to be a nice person. Nice people don't engage in this type of behavior. |

I don't have a vendetta against ZM; I don't like being told by her that she is taking the high road in wishing the likes of me a happy thanksgiving all because I posted a sarcastic joke. Nice people also don't claim they're better than others because they're nice. I am a normal, well rounded adult and I can be sarcastic and that doesn't cancel out the fact that I'm also nice. I assumed she was sock puppetting because I remembered her "confession" and also happened to remember the post she referred to in it, and I thought it strange then -- and all this time, really -- that she was posting both anonymously (as a normal person) and signed in (as a ray of sunshine). The fact that she denied having confessed to posting anonymously when she obviously did means what, exactly? |

Whatever offense you believe ZM committed against you exists solely in your head. You clearly have a chip on your shoulder regarding her. Just look at your posts in this thread (starting with the 4th post): "It's probably Zumbamama when she signs in anonymously." "She stays positive by not being able to read, apparently, or put two and two together w/o lots of help." "Obviously it has nothing to do with you, you Ray of Sunshine you (gag). A wonderful holiday to you, too." "Again, I have no idea what this post is about -- unless you actually are posting anonymously, Oh Great Zumbamama. (Because all of my posts have been directed at someone else.)" "Raise your hand if you think Zumbamama posts anonymously on DCUM as her own adoring fan. Oh oh oh -- me me me!!!" I can't find any post by ZM that says the type of thing that you claim she has said. Just as many posters misunderstood your alleged sarcasm in saying that Zumbamama can't read, you must have misunderstood something ZM wrote. The worst thing she did was wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. But, even if she did somehow offend you, is it really worth going on and on about this? The thread had died and you came back today, dug up a year old message and a second message that is 8 months old, and re-engaged in the fight. If that's not a vendetta, I don't know what is. It is really time for you to drop this. Nobody expects you to like every poster on the board. But, an ongoing attack of this type on one of the few members who signs in is simply not going to be tolerated. |
