Incisive legal analysis.

After Nunes, then Jordan, Meadows, Gaetz and Gohmert.

Conspiracy to clown a fool is not a crime (or even morally wrong). Especially when the ? being clowned is a public figure. Especially especially when the clown is an elected government official. Those clownings are the highest level of protected speech.

Sockpuppetry is also not a crime. But, it should be noted that that is an actual strategy employed, on a much larger scale, by Russia, Trump (in his personal capacity) and likely Nunes himself. Some of the very things Nunes tried to cover up. The ironing is delicious. But an even better part is that, the central complaint of the social media is biased conspiracy involves Twitter/FB beginning to crackdown on fake accounts and thereby deflating their numbers. The very thing he held hearings about that showed what an utter clown he is.

Screw it, if Twitter was forced to verify all accounts it'd be hillarious. The real numbers of users would be revealed, it's stock would tank (and bring down the NASDAQ), Trump would have a petulent hissy fit for days, and the discovery/arguments about the human centipede parody/political cartoon would be amazing. Go Nunes! You'll look like an even bigger clown and Streisand effect the clowning, brilliant. I don't think it'll help you much but it could inadvertently help society.

Agree, and that’s why discovery on this would be so delicious. But it will probably but dismissed just like this other defamation suit by another public official with Nunes’s lawyer.

It's time to strip these companies away from the individuals who control them now.

Perhaps.

Is this whole thread an onion article?

Is Twitter trying to interfere in our elections?

It appears so.

Scintillating analysis of the case and issues at hand. Masterful.

Imagine being a United States Congressman and thinking thst the most pressing issue, the one problem that deserves the full weight of your power and influence, is "my metrics on Twitter are kinda lackluster."

*Devin Nunes campaigning for reelection*

Nunes: Say neighbor, can I count on your vote?

Voter: I'm a farmer. In Washington, will you fight for the California agriculture industry?

Nunes: F*ck no. I'm gonna whine about retweets.

Voter: Welp, sure. As long as it owns the libs.

“This contains a lot of funny stuff. But what it actually is is a politician attempting to abuse the judicial process in order to scare people out of criticizing him by proving that he can cost them a lot in legal fees.”

The first part of that sounds like a teenaged girl wrote it.

If you google Steven Biss he's had his law license suspended twice and he's been officially reprimanded once. He's involved in some YouTube videos that look like wanna be InfoWars anti deep state tripe.

He's probably auditioning for a spot on the White House legal team. He must be pretty crappy to have to live in Petersburg. That explains why the suit was filed nearby.
