I did create a thread there. I just bumped it for those who missed it:

I think I see why liberals want the registered forum.

They post a topic in regular politics and get replies from
Republicans/Conservatives.

Because of such “disrespect,” they post the same topic in the safe space. Few or no replies.

PERFECT.

The new forum just got started. It will take time to build up users. Posters are discouraged by the normal political forum not because they get replies from Republicans, but because the replies are almost all about Hillary Clinton.

This thread begs to differ.

Clinton is still an active and vocal force in politics. If she would withdraw as GWB or even Barack Obama have, people would pay less attention to her.

Most comments on the thread bemoan the rise of the Trumpsters commenting in the political forum.

None of the Hillary Clinton comments that I see and report have anything to do with what she’s doing now. They’re all in the manner of “Abuela falls down all over the place and that’s why you have Trump.” Three years on that’s not useful or relevant.

Ugh yes - except just tonight it occurred to me that one day we'll be able to point to Trump and say "that's why you have BETO" every time those GOP types start complaining about argh socialism and blargh he was in a band and oy IMMIGRANTS and all that.

You do know there’s nothing stopping you from creating a user name and posting there too, right? Maybe “liberals” are just more willing to be held accountable for what they say.

That's exactly the opposite of what I've noticed. And you do realize, liberals were the ones calling for the registered forum, right?

Yes, that's it, I'm just sure of it! All those profanity-laced posts written by liberals - I'm sure they're so eager to "be held accountable for what they say."

How do you register on that forum? And once you're registered, are you still anonymous on the other forums?
