Question about Politics Forum

No one wants an echo chamber to be sure.

However, I for one do not want to be subject to the same Trumpster Trolls over and over and over. They are extremely tiresome.

The new forum just got started. It will take time to build up users. Posters are discouraged by the normal political forum not because they get replies from Republicans, but because the replies are almost all about Hillary Clinton.

I’m a little curious about the “Bernie live in Iowa” right now.

It feels as if most of the posts come from one or two
people who are taking a Web Forum 101 for nonmajors class.

Nothing (except more transparent accountability) stops anyone from picking a name and posting in the new forum.

Interesting that some feel the need to gripe about the "echo chamber," feel compelled to disrupt that in the first forum, but apparently have no desire to step up tot he plate now. Just continue carping anonymously about it here.

How do you register on that forum? And once you're registered, are you still anonymous on the other forums?

If you try to post a reply to one of the threads there, it’ll take you to the log-in screen and there’s a link to the registration form there. If you’re logged in, your user name will show on any forum, it you can just log out again when you’re done in the Politics forum. Another option is if you have two browsers on your device, log into one and use that for the politics forum, and use the other browser where you’re not logged in for everywhere else.

On top of that, very few conservatives report inappropriate posts. I remove almost every post reported by the one or two conservatives that do report posts. But most conservatives don't bother to report posts and then cry like babies that posts insulting them don't get removed. One gets the feeling that most conservatives here have huge victim complexes.

You have multiple solutions at your disposal:

1) Use the new forum where posters who constantly attack conservatives can be more easily identified and dealt with;
2) Report inappropriate posts in the original forum;
3) Stop talking about Hillary Clinton in every single response and have fewer of your posts deleted;
4) Stop starting a new thread everytime someone gets their MAGA hat knocked off their head and have fewer threads deleted;
5) Stop using DCUM.

It is clear that you don't want to solve any problem. All you want to do is whine and complain about how there is a plot against conservatives. Why don't you use the new forum? It was created to ban conservatives. Why don't you report posts? Because the bar is too high (even though I said I have deleted almost every post reported by conservatives). Why don't you just quit DCUM? Well, then where would you have to sit around complaining about being a victim all day?

I thought conservatives were supposed to be rugged individuals, not the biggest group of snowflakes ever collected in one place.
