a. Where I'm coming from: I'm terrified of Trump, and I think there's a ton of creepy, manipulative propaganda, from many different perspectives, here and elsewhere on the Internet. I'm not any happier with manipulative anti-Trump propaganda than with the pro-Trump kind.

b. I tried going through the followed lists for five of these folks.

I think there's a high probability that many of these "people" are bots of some kind.

I checked the followed lists for five of the people with tweets in the article. Many of "people" seem to follow one another, and most of the ones I checked all followed @patterson2020.

This is the web account for Stephen Patterson, who seems to be a very obscure candidate for president:

https://patterson2020.us/

Here's Patterson's FEC Form 1:

Maybe they're all just Stephen Patterson voters who happened to discover each other and follow each other, but they seem very bot like.

The only tweeter I checked who doesn't follow Patterson, acknowledges that he'll be paying higher taxes but says he still supports Trump, and thinks Trump is taking the long view.

It could be that four of these "people" are part of some kind of manipulation campaign.

Those four could be.

But tax refunds are down 8% so far. So it’s real.

I’m sure it’s real, but who did that campaign, and why?

If it’s Democrats: I hope they hire people who can design more subtle bot armies, or shift to more straightforward approaches to communication.

If it’s Republicans: I wonder what the he wants they’re up to.

Say what you will about W, but when he did a tax cut, people were sent checks and he was a hero. These dummies cannot even figure out a simple tax cut.

Yeah, I don’t believe these Tweets seem legit. We need to be smarter about understanding the repubs crappy trickle down economics AND fake news/ social media. We can use our brains to do both people!

There are plenty of seemingly real people who have posted similar metrics in this forum.

Sorry to say but I am REALLY enjoying the schadenfreude. Actions speak louder than words and Trump's actions have always been those of a cheat and a fraud. This was literally the most predictable outcome ever.

We are solidly middle class. And, we are doing much better, tax wise.

What do you mean when you say "solidly middle class"?

Trump enriched himself and his accomplices, and sticks the rest of us with the bill. Asshole traitor. Lock him in a cage.

Serious question: If a Dem is elected next time around will they try to cancel these tax cuts are go back to the previous rates. (maybe none of the candidates has yet discussed this, but I wonder if they would do that).

My guess: they *might* try but getting enough support to pass tax law changes is hard. The Republicans were united by greed and so were willing to ram through anything that gave a bunch of money to their donors. Dems won't be able to agree on new tax structure and won't be able to pass a straight repeal without someone trying to sneak in more funding for pet issues.

Yeah, its depressing.

Are you telling me I shouldn't have taken my family out to eat at Olive Garden so much this past year?
