I checked the followed lists for five of the people with tweets in the article. Many of "people" seem to follow one another, and most of the ones I checked all followed @patterson2020.

Maybe they're all just Stephen Patterson voters who happened to discover each other and follow each other, but they seem very bot like.
The only tweeter I checked who doesn't follow Patterson, acknowledges that he'll be paying higher taxes but says he still supports Trump, and thinks Trump is taking the long view.
It could be that four of these "people" are part of some kind of manipulation campaign.
