Um, isn't that rather snowflake-y of her? I thought "art therapy" was one of those funny things only commie libs do...

/s

I just hope she never realizes how many male artists are / were gay. Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, I'm looking at you!

She would never look at their art -- the subjects are naked.

I care. She’s in a leadership position. She should be a role model.

Her husband is gay. That’s why she and he are so anti-gay.

She taught there for 12 years before. I doubt she’s shocked by anything at the school.

I suspect she has been exposed to that more than you think--likely more than most of your Dem candidates.

No, no no. Don’t group born again Baptist evangelical zealots with the majority of Christianity. Even the majority of regular Baptist’s that I know we fine with gay marriage.

When you take public office, especially the Vice Presidency, you are accepting that you are in the public light and it comes with perks and downfalls. This is a National position (not state wide, not a congressional district). pence is supposed to entire country.

Yes, what Karen Pence does matters, just like what Michelle Obama, Jill Biden, etc did. Don’t act like it doesn’t. This job Karen Pence has accepted contractually requires her to uphold these beliefs (anti gay, anti trans, anti premarital sex, anti cohabitation, anti adultery, anti evolution). She agrees with them, stands by them. Is she within her right to believe this stuff, yes. But this is not what the majority of Christians believe. And Karen represents her family beliefs. This really reflects horribly on her husband’s political aspirations to later run for president.

As a life long baptized and confirmed Episcopalian I get very upset with divisive and polarizing “Christian” sects that take just obscene interpretations of the Bible. This school and the Pences are no real Christians if they believe in this stuff.

It’s funny how when you put it like that you realize how much they have in common with conservative Muslims. Maybe some day they’ll realize that too.

Same sex relations is condemned by all religions.

You mean by sects within most religions.

There are plenty of churches, Jewish congregations, Hindu temples, etc. that do not condemn same sex relations and even acknowledge and bless such partnerships.

Also Wiccans do not take a stance against it.

She worked there before when her husband was in the senate. The article stated that she missed it and wanted to return to teaching there.

The Episcopalian church holds gay marriages, has gay bishops, has trans clergy, and does not condemn trans or gay. I am proud that my local church was protested by Westboro for this reason.
