I'm a woman, and I don't simply not show up. I also don't end the date early even though at least half the time the man is clearly about 10 years older than his profile photos. Moving forward, when it's obvious they're misrepresenting themselves, I'm going to start wrapping up those dates earlier.

A better approach is to have the first date be drinks/coffee. That way, there is a fixed ending time. You can extend, but you do not have to.
